SANTA CRUZ, Calif. — Cal’s Ziqin (Eric) Zhou lit up the leaderboard with a blistering 6-under 64—just one shot off the Western Intercollegiate tournament record—while Arizona’s Filip Jakubcik continues to lead at 9-under following Tuesday’s second round of the 78th Western Intercollegiate Presented by Titleist at Pasatiempo Golf Club. The action was broadcast live on Golf Channel.
Team competition saw a dramatic shake-up as No. 22 Pepperdine surged six spots to the top, firing the day’s best round with an 8-under team total. BYU joined Pepperdine as the only teams to shoot under par on Tuesday, climbing four positions on the leaderboard.
